Uppsala Ekeby Gefle/Hyacinth/Morning Cup & Saucer/Black

Introducing a cool and lovely black Hyacinth cup and saucer from Upssala Ekeby Gefle.
While the 70s version, called "Blue Hyacinth," only came in blue, this one is named "Hyacinth" because it's available in both blue and this black color.
This cup and saucer is an original piece from 1956-1969. It's known as the AU model, and it's a size larger than the one previously featured in our shop, with a form like an inverted trapezoid. The 70s version is considered a reproduction of this one. It comes in black and blue. Both are very rare and difficult to find in this series. While the blue Hyacinth is rare, the black Hyacinth is seen even less frequently than the blue.
The hyacinth pattern gracefully encircling the side of the cup is incredibly delicate and captivatingly beautiful, making this a popular cup and saucer with many collectors here.
It can be said to be one of the masterpieces of Scandinavian tableware.

(Condition) No noticeable chips or cracks. As it is an old piece, when wet, the crazing in the surface glaze becomes more apparent, but there are no leaks. It is in good condition for a vintage item. The price has been set with this in mind.
