Presenting a cat figurine by Dorothy Clough from Uppsala Ekeby.
Dorothy, born in England in 1930, worked at Gefle from 1954 to 1957, and then as a freelance designer at Uppsala Ekeby Gefle.
Many of her works feature women and adorable animals.
Her gentle style makes her very popular.
These cat figurines were produced in the 1950s.
Unlike the cats by Göran Andersson from Uppsala Ekeby that we introduced recently, these cats are delicate and elegant.
This is a very rare piece.
This is our first time stocking it.

(Condition): Imperfect. There are traces of repair on the tail. The price reflects this. There is age-related crazing on the surface. The striped pattern decoration is also very beautiful. It is in good condition for a vintage item.
