Introducing a cat figurine by Dorothy Clough from Uppsala Ekeby.
Dorothy, born in England in 1930, worked at Gefle from 1954 to 1957, and then as a freelance designer at Uppsala Ekeby Gefle.
Many of her works feature women and adorable animals.
Her gentle style makes her very popular.
These cat figurines were produced in the 1950s.
Unlike the cat figurine by Göran Andersson from Uppsala Ekeby that we introduced recently, these cats are delicate and elegant.
They are very rare pieces.

(Condition): Imperfect. There is a repair mark on the neck, which has been reflected in the price. Otherwise, there are no noticeable chips or cracks. This cat is a matte, unglazed type. It is in good condition for a vintage item.
