This is a handmade embroidered cushion, a traditional Nordic craft.
It's a wonderful piece created with a great deal of time and effort using a technique called Tvist embroidery.
The color palette is dark blue, with lovely colorful swallow, bird, and floral patterns. This elongated cushion is very comfortable when placed in the small of your back when sitting. The fringes are looped and doubled.
