This is a bird figurine produced by Trosa keramik/Trosa kiln during the short period from 1956 to 1966.
It was made by Bengt Wall. He was born in 1914 in Lund, a city famous for its university. He established his kiln in 1956 and was active until his death in 1966, primarily creating charming birds that live in Northern Europe.
His handwritten signature remains on the back of the birds.
These adorable little birds have a light blue and brown speckled pattern.
They are popular collectors' items locally.
The larger bird has a defect in its beak, but the smaller bird has no chips and its body is very clean.
