Trosa Keramik / Bengt Wall / Bird figurine / Raised tail

This bird figurine was produced by Trosa Keramik (Trosa Pottery) during a short period from 1956 to 1966.
It was made by Bengt Wall, who was born in 1914 in Lund, a city famous for its university. He established his pottery studio in 1956 and was active until 1966, primarily creating charming birds found in Scandinavia.
His handwritten signature remains on the back of the bird.
He produced various bird figurines, and this particular one is a lovely piece with an upturned tail and beautiful dotted blue wings, giving it a cute, plump appearance.
