This is a vintage Italian plate sold by Svensk Tenn, featuring a beautiful hand-painted viola flower. Svensk Tenn is also famous for its tulip designs by Josef Frank, a very renowned Swedish designer whose popularity remains immense to this day. This particular plate was sold by Svensk Tenn in Stockholm in the mid-1900s, and its design is a work from the atelier of the Italian artist Ernestine Cannon (1904-1969) herself.
It is a large pastel-toned decorative plate. It would be lovely displayed as an interior accent or used as a dessert plate. This is our first time stocking this plate and the viola-shaped decorative plate. This size is quite rare.
