Traditional Nordic Handicraft / Spånkorg / Hand-painted / Viola and Poppy Floral Pattern

Introducing a painted Spånkorg basket, one of the traditional Nordic crafts, made from birch pine by Sven Södergren. The lid features beautifully depicted violas and poppies, and the sides of the basket are adorned with many other lovely Nordic summer flowers. Along with birch bark craft (Naver), this warm Nordic item was frequently used in Nordic homes. This is a creation by handmade artist Kerstinn. It's a wonderful piece that can serve as an accent in your room as an interior decoration.
