This is Mats, a charming ceramic figurine from Rutebo Leksand, sitting in a cute pose dressed in a traditional North Swedish folk costume.
Rutebo was founded in 1956 by Rut Carla Landsröm Rutebo and her husband, a ceramic workshop known for its small animal and child figurines, which are highly sought after by collectors in Sweden. This sitting Mats figurine has a cute bob haircut with bangs. The bottom is engraved with the name and Rutebo's signature.
