Introducing a ceramic figurine of Lill, dressed in the traditional folk costume of Northern Sweden from Rutebo Leksand. "Lill" means small or lovely.
Rutebo was founded in 1956 by Rut Carla Landsröm Rutebo and her husband as a ceramic studio.
They are known for their small animal and child figurines, which are highly sought after by collectors in Sweden.
This girl's name is Kari. Perhaps she's Kari's child. Her name and the Rutebo signature are engraved on the bottom.
