Rutebo Keramik/Leksand/Northern Sweden traditional costume boy/Jerk

Introducing a charming boy figurine in traditional Northern Swedish folk costume, made of ceramic by Rutebo Leksand.
Rutebo was founded in 1956 by Rut Carla Landsröm Rutebo and her husband as a ceramic studio.
They produced many small animal and child figurines, which are highly sought after by collectors in Sweden.
The boy's name, Jerk, is common in the Leksand region. This Swedish boy, with his hands in his knickerbockers, seems a little shy. Jerk by Rutebo is a very rare find.

(Condition): As all Rutebo works are handmade, the firing color and expressions vary. There are no noticeable cracks or chips, and it is in very good condition for a vintage item.
