This is a teacup and saucer from the Mon Amie series by Rorstrand.
The Mon Amie series, a masterpiece by Marianne Westman, is popular not only in Japan but worldwide.
Mon Amie, which means "lover" or "friend" in French, was a popular series produced from 1952 to 1987.
The blue color differs from current products, giving it a vintage, rich character.
The cup and saucer have not been reissued; only mugs are currently available. We have received five sets in very good condition.
