Rörstrand/Lars Thoren/Vase/Flowers blooming in a Nordic field

Presenting a lovely hand-painted single-flower vase from Rorstrand, featuring beautiful wildflowers from the Nordic fields. The design is by Lars Thorén, who joined the company in 1939 at the age of 17 and was responsible for decor under Carl H. Sthålhane. Many of his works feature floral motifs. This particular piece is one of several ceramic items he created under the theme of wildflowers found in Sweden. Although it is a single-flower vase, as shown in the image, it can hold 2-3 wildflowers, so it would look wonderful with flowers from your garden.
