Introducing a Christmas plate from Rörstrand. This is the 1976 Christmas plate. It depicts the motif of Nils traveling through Uppsala, part of the Nils Holgersson's Wonderful Journey series. Uppsala is a university town with the ancient Uppsala University, and the plate shows Nils sitting by a university window, reading a book, while the goose Morten flies to him with a book in his beak.
The design is by Gunnar Nylund.
