This is a dessert plate from the Mon Amie series by Rorstrand.
The Mon Amie series, a masterpiece by Marianne Westman, is popular not only in Japan but also worldwide. In its home country of Sweden, the Mon Amie series enjoys immense popularity. Recently, a long-established coffee maker created coffee cans with the Mon Amie pattern, achieving a level of popularity that became a social phenomenon. While reissued versions are still manufactured and sold, the Mon Amie pieces from this era have a deep, bleeding blue color that is unique to vintage items.
Mon Amie, meaning "sweetheart" or "friend" in French, was a popular series produced from 1952 to 1987.
The blue color differs from current products, making this a deeply evocative vintage piece. This particular plate is a rare item produced and sold in the early period. We currently have 10 available. Please consider pairing it with a teacup.

(Condition): No noticeable cracks or chips. Variations in pattern and color splashes are characteristic of vintage items from this era. There are some minor cutlery scratches. For a vintage item, it is in beautiful condition with good luster.
