Rörstrand/Rorstrand/Karin/Karin/Cup & Saucer

Introducing the Karin cup and saucer from Rörstrand, featuring a very charming blue floral pattern. The delicate design, reminiscent of a pencil drawing, is rendered in shades, creating a refreshing cup and saucer. It was designed by Leena Mörsky. She was responsible for many decorations and forms at Rörstrand between 1963 and 1971, and although she produced many splendid and vibrant designs characteristic of Rörstrand in the 60s and 70s, her name is hardly known. This is because Rörstrand's policy required employees to remain anonymous. Karin was said to be her favorite among her many works. The Karin service was manufactured and sold twice, from 1916-26 and from 1978-1979. This item is believed to be from 1978. It was manufactured and sold for only one year, making it a rare item that is not often seen.

(Condition): No noticeable chips or cracks. There are slight scuffs on the saucer. This series may have variations in color intensity or blurring in the decor due to manufacturing. It is in beautiful condition for a vintage item.
