Old Gustavsberg/Öresund/Soup plate/23cm

This is an antique plate from Gustavsberg, designed and manufactured between 1913 and 1941, making it about 100 years old.
It is a 23cm soup plate.
Named "Öresund," this plate features seagulls gracefully flying along its rim. The color scheme is a deep, navy-like blue.
It's a beautifully designed plate that still holds its appeal today.
Öresund refers to the strait between Malmö, a city located in southern Sweden, and Copenhagen. Today, a long bridge connects them, allowing travel by car and train, but in the past, people traveled between Copenhagen and Malmö by ferry or hydrofoil.
Both its colors and design share similarities with Japanese tableware, making it a plate that would complement Japanese cuisine.
