Old Gustavsberg/Öresund/21cm

This is a Gustavsberg plate, designed and manufactured between 1913 and 1941, making it an antique rather than a retro item, as it was made almost 100 years ago.
It's a 21cm soup plate.
Named "Öresund," this plate features seagulls soaring gracefully around the rim. The color scheme is a deep navy blue.
It's a beautifully designed plate that still holds its appeal today.
Öresund refers to the strait between Malmö, a city in southern Sweden, and Copenhagen. Today, a long bridge connects them, allowing travel by car or train, but previously, people commuted to Copenhagen by ferry or hydrofoil.
With its color and design sharing similarities with Japanese tableware, I believe this plate would also complement Japanese cuisine.
