Old Gustavsberg / Gustavsberg / Öresund / Øresund / Plate / 18cm

This is a Gustavsberg plate, designed and manufactured between 1913 and 1941, making it an antique rather than retro, produced about 100 years ago.
It is an 18.5 cm dessert plate.
Named "Öresund," this plate features seagulls elegantly flying around its rim. The color scheme is a deep navy blue.
The design is still lovely and contemporary.
Öresund refers to the strait between Malmö, a city in southern Sweden, and Copenhagen. Today, a long bridge connects them, allowing travel by car or train, but previously, people traveled between them by ferry or hydrofoil.
Both the color and design have elements in common with Japanese tableware, so I believe this plate would also complement Japanese cuisine.
