Nittsjö/Thomas Hellström/Cat figurine/Sitting beckoning cat

Allow us to introduce this adorable kitten figurine from Nittsjö. The beautiful gray-blue glaze and charming pose perfectly capture the essence of a kitten. The paw pads are a delicate pink. It was designed by Thomas Hellström. Nittsjö is a historic ceramic kiln established in 1843. It continues to produce items such as troll and terracotta figurines today.
Thomas joined Nittsjö in 1958 and has created many animal figurines, including squirrels and moose. He was born in America in 1924, and grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden's second-largest city. His works are highly popular among vintage enthusiasts. This time, we have acquired two of these lovely kittens. This is our first time stocking them.

(Condition): No noticeable chips or cracks. It is in very clean condition for a vintage item, with the label still intact.
