Nittsjö Keramik / Thomas Hellström / Bambi fawn with a cute floral heart-shaped bottom

Introducing a very cute deer figurine from Nittsjö/Knit Shoe, featuring a sky blue glaze and a floral pattern.
The design is by Thomas Hellström. Nittsjö is a historical ceramic kiln founded in 1843. It still produces trolls and terracotta figurines. The charm of its works lies in the vibrant pieces that make the most of the clay material. This deer figurine is a very rare piece among his works, as it is entirely glazed and adorned with a floral design, which is unusual for him. This is our first time stocking it.
Thomas joined Nittsjö in 1958 and has produced many figurines of squirrels, moose, and wild animals. His works are very popular among vintage fans.
Born in 1924 in the USA, he was a Swede from Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden.

(Condition): No noticeable chips or cracks. It is in very good condition for a vintage item. His stamp is on the bottom.
