Introducing an owl figurine, of which many types can be found in Sweden. Each piece is carefully crafted with meticulous attention to the clay, glaze, and firing process.
The design is by Gunna Hansson, a ceramist.
He was born in Lomma, southern Sweden, in 1913 and passed away in 2007.
He owned his own workshop and created many birds and owls.
This little bird is a magnificent piece, looking as if it could spring to life at any moment. In winter, its plumage turns white, making it a wise forest dweller silently standing in the woods.
