Introducing a bird objet d'art that captures the characteristics of small birds and is meticulously crafted. Each piece is carefully finished with attention to the clay, glaze, and firing process.
The design is by Gunna Hansson, a ceramist.
He was born in Lomma, southern Sweden, in 1913. He passed away in 2007.
He had his own workshop and produced many birds and owls.
This bird looks as if it's about to move, a truly magnificent piece. This particular type has a reddish-brown body without glaze, while the beak, head, wings, and tail are glazed. It's a lovely little bird with a warm, earthy feel.
(Size): Height: approx. 8.5cm, Width: approx. 9.5cm
(Country of origin): Sweden
