There are several Dala horse workshops in the Dalarna region, and this particular Dala horse comes from Nusaäs, a long-established workshop.
The Dala horse gained fame about 70 years ago, when the Swedish Pavilion at the 1939 New York World's Fair displayed large Dala horses outside, attracting significant attention and becoming a popular topic. Please choose your preferred color and size.
