Introducing a wonderful ceramic plaque from Jie Gantofta, featuring three-dimensional rowan berries and leaves that appear to float.
In early autumn, rowan berries in the Swedish forests turn red. It is said that a year with many bright red berries signals a cold winter.
The design is by Nietosvuori Aimo, a star designer who worked for Jie Gantofta the longest and was responsible for its designs. He joined the company in 1967 and remained until its closure in 1992. He created numerous beautiful ceramic plaques and floral motifs inspired by the Swedish landscape.
Its generous size makes it a striking decorative piece.
(Size): 24cm x 26cm, Thickness: 1cm,

(Designer): Nietosvuori Aimo
(Era): 1967 - 1970s
(Condition): There are no noticeable chips or cracks. Due to their handmade nature, Jie's ceramic plaques may have slight distortions, but they appear perfectly fine when displayed. Please understand and appreciate the handmade texture in advance.
