Introducing a figurine of a dog holding slippers in its mouth, by Jie Gantofta Stoneware. This handmade piece is exquisitely crafted to look incredibly lifelike. The sight of the dog standing on two legs with slippers in its mouth is simply adorable. While the breed cannot be definitively determined, it appears to be a terrier type. Its deep black eyes are charming.
The design is by Maria Ericsson.
It's fascinating how different her work is from Annika's, despite both being from Jie.
Jie is well-known for its ceramic plaques and female single-flower vases, but they also produced a series of dog figurines like this one, which are rarely seen and are therefore very rare.
