Introducing a very rare Svan (swan) figurine by Lisa Larson from Jie Gantofta.
Jie is a historic brand established in 1942 in Gantofta, southern Sweden, and closed down in 1992. It is known for ceramic plaques featuring floral motifs and girl figurines.
It may not be widely known, but Lisa Larson worked as a freelancer at Jie from 1990 until the company's bankruptcy in 1992.
There, she created Tomte figurines and other animal figurines like this one. After Jie went out of business, she established her own ceramic studio in Gothenburg.
This swan is part of the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) series. Our shop previously featured the wild rabbit and owl from this series. A total of 14 types of animals were produced.
This is a rare piece that doesn't often appear on the market.
For packages under 2 kg, unless otherwise specified by the customer, we will ship them as letter mail. For customers who are concerned, we recommend REK2000 (registered mail) with tracking and insurance, or international express mail with tracking only.
