Jie Gantofta/Ji.Gantofta/Ceramic Tile/Old Swedish Kitchen Series/Blueberries and Scale

This is a lovely rectangular ceramic plaque from Jie Gantofta, featuring a retro-style scale overflowing with blueberries.
The ceramic plaque gives the appearance of being three-dimensional.
The design is by Nietosvuori Aimo, a star designer who worked for Jie Gantofta the longest. He joined the company in 1967 and remained until its closure in 1992. He created numerous beautiful Swedish landscape flower motifs and floral ceramic plaques.
The white ceramic base was commonly used from the 1980s onwards.
