Jie Gantofta/Viola Flower Ceramic Tile

Introducing a viola ceramic plaque from Jie Gantofta. This is a magnificent piece featuring a large viola flower across the entire width of the slightly oversized ceramic plaque. This type of plaque was produced and sold from 1967 to the 1970s. The design is by Nietosvuori Aimo. While there are various viola flower plaques, this one is a personal favorite. It's been a while since we've had it in stock.

(Condition) : There are some minor paint chips on a part of the flower, but they are not very noticeable. Otherwise, there are no noticeable chips or cracks, and for a vintage item, it is in beautiful condition with the label still intact.
As Jie ceramic plaques are handmade, there may be some slight distortions, but they do not look out of place when displayed. Please understand that this is part of the handmade charm.
