Introducing a handmade marmalade or jam pot from Höganäs Keramik. It comes with a teak lid and pot plate from Karl Holmberg. This piece features a glossy brown pot with striking yellow "marmalade" lettering. In Sweden, jam is called marmalade.
Höganäs is a historic pottery established in the 1700s. Although the company still exists today, this particular pot, judging by its backstamp, was manufactured and sold between 1956 and 1967. The knife in the last image is not included.
Most objects, baskets, and trays made of teak and rattan were produced in the 1950s and 1960s.
