Our shop has introduced this piece as an object depicting the moment a chick is born by Jie Gantofta. However, this particular piece is from the atelier of the artist himself, Hannes Johansson. This little bird is a bit larger, with a substantial weight, giving it a solid construction. The coloring of the feather patterns and the head is very subtle, and holding it in your palm makes you feel as if warmth is radiating from the piece. Furthermore, glass is incorporated into the eyes, making it an almost lifelike bird figurine.
This is a truly valuable art piece.
