Introducing a rectangular mini tray/plate/small dish from the Grazia series by Gustavsberg.
The matte white background features a silver design of the townscape of Gustavsberg. This design is by Sven Jonsson, who created the famous 1976 Christmas plate, which is very popular in Japan regardless of the season.
Sven Jonsson worked at Gustavsberg from 1934 to 1981, where he was responsible for designing and producing ceramics alongside Stig Lindberg.
This Lagun piece was made in Gustavsberg's studio. The indescribable blue color and the golden rosebuds are truly lovely.
Although it was likely made to be an ashtray and cigarette holder, it's so beautiful that it would also be wonderful to display or to hold small accessories.
