Introducing the Linnea plate (17.8 cm) by Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg.
The Linnea, also known as the twinflower, is a beloved flower in Sweden, blooming quietly in its forests.
The Linnea series, designed after the delicate form of this flower, is highly popular both in Sweden and Japan, making this plate a rare find that is seldom seen these days.
The flowers themselves are decorated in three colors, and the stems in six colors.
The backstamp explains that the flower was named after the Swedish botanist Carl von Linné. The Linnea flower on the backstamp is also very charming, making this a collector's item.

(Condition): No cracks or chips. There is a light stain in one spot on the plate. Considering it's a vintage item, it has good luster and shows little signs of use, making it in very good condition.
