Introducing the Linnea butter dish, designed by Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg.
The Linnea, also known as the twinflower, quietly blooms in the Swedish forests and is a cherished flower for Swedes.
The Linnea series, designed with the flower's delicate appearance in mind, is highly popular both locally and in Japan. It's becoming increasingly rare to find, and among these rare items, the butter dish is particularly scarce. There are two sizes of butter dishes, and this one is the larger size.
The flower itself comes in three colors, and the stem is adorned with six colors.
The backstamp explains that the flower was named after the Swedish botanist Carl von Linné. The Linnea flower on the backstamp is also very cute, making this a collector's item. This is our first time stocking it.

(Condition): No noticeable chips or cracks. There is discoloration and stains on the inside due to age. There is one small indentation on the lid, likely from manufacturing. The Linnea decoration retains a beautiful condition with minimal paint loss. Overall, it has a good luster, making it a beautiful item for display.
