Introducing the Blå Husar cup and saucer from Gustavsberg, designed by Stig Lindberg, a leading designer of Nordic design. "Blå" means blue, and "Husar" refers to a cavalry originating in ancient Turkey. Lindberg's works are charming, full of inspiration and a playful sense of humor. The charm of this piece is undoubtedly the blurred effect, as if the blue is floating on water. The back stamp even says "Flytande Blått" / "Floating Blue". Each piece is hand-painted, creating an atmosphere that somewhat resembles Japanese indigo dyeing.
