This is a cup and saucer from Gustvsberg/Gustavsberg/Blå Aster/Blue Aster.
This series is one of Stig Lindberg's masterpieces. The Blue Aster is very difficult to find even in Sweden and is a very popular piece.
Compared to the reissued version, the vintage Aster is characterized by a deeper and more vibrant blue decor. It's a very lovely piece with the aster flower blooming brightly on the front of the cup.
The original has "BLÅ ASTER" written on the backstamp.

(Size): Caliber: 8cm, Height: 6cm, Saucer Diameter: Approximately 13cm

(Country of origin): Sweden

(Designer): Stig Lindberg

(Period): 1962 - 1974

(Condition): There are no noticeable cracks or chips. On the back of the saucer, there are kiln support marks, which are almost always seen from this period. For a vintage item, it is in beautiful condition with good luster.
