Introducing the 20cm Berså bowl, a masterpiece by Stig Lindberg, a well-known representative of Nordic tableware.
Berså is highly popular in Sweden and Japan.
The vibrant young leaf design on white bone china is understandable for its high popularity among both men and women.
Vintage items have the Berså young leaf design on the back of the saucer.
While it is known as Berså in Japan, here it is written as Berså and pronounced "Berså."
The meaning of Berså is a place where benches are placed beside a hedge of plants in a town or a corner of a park for a short rest, but it seems to be a word that is not often used now. It's perfect for a generous vegetable salad or pasta salad, or even just as a decoration.
