Introducing a vintage bulldog from Lisa Larson's iconic Stora Zoo (Large Zoo) series, a representative work by the renowned Swedish ceramic artist.
Two years after releasing the "Small Zoo" series, this "Large Zoo" was designed. In total, there are 12 different animals in the series. While "Mia" remains a long-selling item and is still in production today, this bulldog, along with the cat and moose, was a popular item produced from 1958-1978. Its plump body with tiny ears and tail are irresistible.
All pieces are handmade, so each has its own unique character, with bumps and variations in color that occurred during manufacturing and firing.
This bulldog features a green glaze, like a Japanese bush warbler, with its face drawn directly onto the unglazed clay.
For packages weighing less than 2 kg, we typically ship via international mail as a letter, which does not include tracking or compensation.
For high-value items such as Lisa Larson pieces, we recommend purchasing REK2000/Registered International Mail.
