Introducing a vintage bulldog from the Stora Zoo/Large Zoo series, a masterpiece by Sweden's representative ceramic artist, Lisa Larson.
Two years after releasing the Small Zoo series, this Large Zoo was designed, featuring a total of 12 types of animals. While Mia, one of the animals, is a long-selling product still in production today, this bulldog, along with the cat and moose, was a popular item produced from 1958-1978. Its plump body, tiny ears, and tail are simply irresistible.
Due to the handmade nature of these pieces, each one has its own unique character, including irregularities and variations in color that occur during production and firing.
This bulldog features a nightingale-green glaze, with its face painted directly onto the unglazed clay.
For packages weighing less than 2 kg, we typically ship via international mail as a letter, which does not include tracking or insurance.
For expensive items such as Lisa Larson pieces, we recommend purchasing registered international mail (REK2000).
