Gustavsberg/Lisa Larson/Rundel/Ceramic Plaque/Bird/Red

This is a wall-mounted ceramic plate by Lisa Larson, a leading Swedish ceramic artist, from the Rundel series.
It is an unusual piece for a ceramic plate. "Rundel" is Swedish for "round," and a bird is designed like a relief within a round frame.
This piece was produced and sold for a short period between 1969-72.
There are designs featuring birds and butterflies. These pieces are rarely found.
