Gustavsberg / Stig Lindberg / Blå Husar / Sugar pot without lid

Introducing a sugar pot from Gustavsberg, designed by Stig Lindberg, a representative designer of Nordic design, for the Blå Husar series. "Blå" means blue, and "Husar" refers to cavalry originating in ancient Turkey. Lindberg's works are charming for their inspiration and playful sense of humor. The most captivating feature of this piece is undoubtedly the blurred effect, as if the blue is floating on water. The backstamp also reads "Flytande Blått" (Floating Blue). Each hand-painted decor evokes an atmosphere reminiscent of Japanese indigo dyeing. This piece is also suitable for serving Japanese food. Please note that this item does not come with a lid. A wooden fork spoon will be included.
