This is an introduction to our bird figurines, which are precisely crafted, capturing the characteristics of small birds. Each piece is carefully finished with attention to the clay, glaze, and firing process.
The designer is Gunna Hansson, a ceramic artist.
He was born in Lomma, southern Sweden, in 1913 and passed away in 2007. In this piece, the body is unglazed, and the beak, wings, and tail are glazed.
He had his own studio and created many birds and owls.
The little bird looks as if it's about to move, a magnificent work.
