This heartwarming Christmas plate from Guldkroken.HJO depicts a tomte giving Christmas porridge to a fox on Christmas Eve. The title is "Tomte and Fox." The design is by Harald Wiberg. Born in Småland, Sweden in 1908, he was a painter and illustrator who created many works featuring nature, such as tomte, cats, dogs, and foxes. Bing & Gröndahl's tomte series is very popular and has many collectors worldwide. This Christmas plate is a limited production piece.
