Introducing a lovely Christmas plate from Guldkroken.HJO, titled "Tomte and Cat," depicting a tomte and a cat watching over sleeping houses on Christmas Eve. The design is by Harald Wiberg, a painter and illustrator born in Småland, Sweden in 1908. He created many works featuring nature motifs like tomtar, cats, dogs, and foxes. His tomte series for Bing & Gröndahl is very popular and has many collectors worldwide. This Christmas plate is a limited production piece.
