EGO was a company that existed from 1966 to 1988. EGO was founded by Gösta Olofsson. Willi Fischer was born in Austria and moved to Sweden in 1948, where he worked at Rörstrand's plaster workshop. There, he met the founder, Olofsson. Fischer worked at EGO from 1966 to 1969.
