Introducing a charming squirrel figurine from EGO/Ego.
EGO was a company that existed from 1966 to 1988, founded by Gösta Olofsson. Willi Fischer, born in Austria, moved to Sweden in 1948 and worked in the plaster workshop at Rörstrand. There, he met the founder, Olofsson. Fischer created works for EGO from 1966 to 1969.
This squirrel figurine is a rare piece, with its body fired with a glaze that resembles latte art.
This squirrel, originally from a ceramic plaque with a squirrel and pine cones, is now available as a figurine.
