Introducing a charming little bird from EGO/Ego company, with round, endearing eyes and a delightful yellow beak.
The application of glaze gives this lovely bird a beautiful blue and green hue, while its wings are unglazed, creating a matte finish. It's a wonderful bird that conveys a handmade feel. The EGO company existed from 1966 to 1988. EGO was founded by Gösta Olofsson, and Willi Fischer, born in Austria, moved to Sweden in 1948 and worked in Rörstrand's plaster workshop. There he met Olofsson, the founder. Fischer worked at EGO from 1966 to 1969.
It's not too big, nor too small, making it just the right size for display. We have two in stock.
