Introducing the Dala Horse, a traditional Swedish handicraft made in the Dalarna region.
The Dala Horse, also famous in Japan, gained its popularity about 70 years ago, at the 1939 New York World's Fair. The Swedish pavilion displayed a large Dala Horse outdoors, which attracted a lot of attention and became the origin of its popularity.
This Dala Horse features a beautiful natural wood grain without paint. It's a very cute mini size. Although small, it has a very meticulous finish.
