This is a mushroom ornament from the Boda / Böda / handmade glass mushroom series, designed by Monica Backström.
Her work became famous overnight with the mushroom glass objects released in the 1970s.
This mushroom is affectionately known as the parasol mushroom in Europe, and while eating it raw can cause food poisoning, you don't have to worry about that with a glass mushroom. The color is an indescribable beige-pink, and the design, with subtle specks of color scattered within the glass, is truly beautiful.
This is a handmade art piece.
Since the bottom is hollowed out, it looks very beautiful when lit from below. However, please absolutely do not use tea candles with it.
