This is a fly agaric mushroom ornament from the Boda/Bo-da handmade glass mushroom series.
The design is by Monica Backstrom.
Her work became famous overnight with the glass mushroom objects she presented in the 1970s.
This particular piece features a beautiful design with subtle color variations dotted within salmon pink glass. The fly agaric mushroom is available in this color and red.
Each piece is handmade.
Because the bottom is hollowed out, when a light is shone from below, it illuminates beautifully. However, please absolutely do not use tea candles or similar items.
