Arabia/Atelje/Helja Liukko-Sundström/Sleeping girl with a cute face

Introducing a small ceramic art tile from Arabia, perfect for hanging on a wall.
The design is by Helja Liukko-Sundström.
She joined Arabia in 1962 and moved to the art department in 1967, where she created many ceramic art tiles. By around 2000, she had produced nearly 200 different works.
Her motifs often feature Finnish nature, wildflowers, and buildings combined with animals, with rabbits and penguins being particularly common. Her highly artistic works, with their fairytale-like touch, are captivating.
This particular piece, created in her atelier, is a very charming ceramic art tile depicting a sleeping figure, with a pink comforter, seemingly breathing peacefully and sleeping soundly.
